Before you share your story..

let me tell you mine..

More About Me

Hello, I'm Joseph Victor Oluwaseyi, a passionate sports photojournalist based in Nigeria. At the age of 24, I've already embarked on an exciting journey in the world of photography. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Kogi, I discovered my love for capturing sports moments through my camera lens.

I am proud to serve as the lead photographer for Sporting Lagos, an incredible football club. Being part of the team allow me to witness and document the exhilarating triumphs and heartfelt stories that unfold on and off the pitch. It's an honor to contribute to the visual narrative of this remarkable club.

In addition to my role at Sporting Lagos, I am an active member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). Collaborating with fellow professionals in the field allows me to exchange ideas, share experiences, and contribute to the growth of sports journalism in Nigeria.

Beyond my affiliations with Sporting Lagos and SWAN, I am the owner of SPORTFOTOSMEDIA, a media company specializing in sports photography and visual storytelling. Through this venture, I have the privilege of capturing the excitement, dedication, and raw emotions that make sports so captivating. It's a rewarding experience to share these moments with the world.

I am also proud to be a member of the African Photojournalism Database (APJD), an esteemed platform that recognizes and promotes talented photographers across the continent. It's an acknowledgment of my commitment to upholding journalistic standards and telling impactful stories through my lens.

Traveling is one of my greatest passions, as it allows me to explore new cultures and environments. It broadens my perspective as a storyteller and enables me to capture unique images from various corners of the world. Each journey fuels my creativity and deepens my love for photography.

Through my work, I aim to inspire and inform. I believe that sports have the power to unite people and evoke powerful emotions. With every click of my camera, I strive to preserve the moments, struggles, and triumphs that define the human spirit in the realm of sports.

Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. Through my lens, I hope to captivate you, transport you, and leave a lasting impression. Let's celebrate the beauty and intensity of sports together.

I'm straightforward and sarcastic. I enjoy having random conversations about life, travel, and art creation. When we meet, I can guarantee two things: belly laughs and beautiful photo memories created together.
