THE PRESIDENTIAL FEDERATION CUP

Formerly known as the Aiteo Cup and FA Cup, the Presidential Federation Cup is a prestigious competition played by professional football clubs that have reached the FA Cup finals in each state of Nigeria. The winner of the Presidential Federation Cup earns a ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC), representing the NPFL in the competition, and takes home 50 million Naira. The runner-up football club receives 20 million Naira.

Elkanemi Warriors Football Club won the 2023/2024 Presidential Federation Cup. The Borno state-owned football club, recently got promoted back into the Nigeria Professional Football League after relegating years back, They put on a good fight and stellar performance against Abia Warriors, securing a 2-0 victory to claim the Presidential Federation Trophy.
